The proposed Accessible Open and Interoperable RAN Testing and Evaluation (A-OPERATE) project aims to address and expand industry-accepted testing and evaluation activities through a collaborative partnership with three unique testbeds at Texas A&M University. The A-OPERATE project creates a proving ground for ORAN capabilities through the development of a testbed network capable of assessing and facilitating the interoperability, performance, and security of open and interoperable 5G radio access networks while also providing support and accessibility of information to allied partners and innovators.
