Dr. Magnussen and the CACN (at the time ITEC) team will lead the project overall and specifically the data collection effort to meet the objectives of Goal 1 – Collection and Publication of LMR Usage Data as described in the NOFO. Data will be collected in order to support the Goal 2 – Research Related to the Comparison of LMR to LTE. To complete the Goal 2 research, we have partnered with a data science team led by Dr. Nicholas Duffield, Director for the Texas A&M University Center for Data Sciences, and his colleague Dr. Tao Jian. This team will aid in the design of the data collection effort and perform the LMR data analysis required for Goal 2.
