Logan Freeman
Logan, a seasoned IT professional, joined the CACN team in July 2023, bringing over 25 years of experience in diverse areas of IT and networking. Logan collaborates with other Systems Engineers and IT personnel to define technology problems and solutions. Provides leadership and oversight of both highly advanced and complex technical projects or business issues requiring state-of-the-art technical or industry knowledge.
A proud graduate of Texas A&M University (Fightin Texas Aggie Class of 2000!), Logan has been an integral part of the university community. His journey began with designing and maintaining enterprise IT systems, networking, telecom, and security for The Association of Former Students of Texas A&M University, the largest self-governed alumni organization globally.
Recently, Logan wore multiple hats as the owner and CTO of a wireless ISP (WISP) in the Bryan/College Station area while also consulting in the small-to-medium business Managed Service Provider (MSP) space. His projects dovetailed seamlessly, enhancing his expertise in micro- and millimeter-wavelength RF, CBRS, and optical networks. Logan’s hands-on experience extended to tower and network infrastructure implementation, routing and security, and AC/DC power systems.
Notably, his MSP involvement deepened his understanding of VoIP/SIP technology, spanning open-source solutions to industry giants like 3CX and Cisco. This diverse background perfectly positioned him for a smooth transition into ITEC’s specialized areas, including NG911 and 4G/5G projects. Beyond his technical prowess, Logan’s leadership skills have been instrumental in driving successful outcomes for the team and clients alike.
