Valerie Vetrone

Program Manager

Valerie is an accomplished program manager with a strong track record of leading high-impact initiatives across nonprofit and academic sectors. Currently serving as Program Manager at The Texas A&M University System’s Center for Applied Communications and Networks, she manages the proposal and project process, including proposal development management, project task and deliverable tracking, and submission of related project reports, as well as organizing special events like conferences and workshops, and coordinating meetings for executive support.

Prior to her role at Texas A&M, Valerie held several leadership positions at the American Red Cross, where she directed regional preparedness efforts across 83 counties, managed disaster response operations, and built inclusive volunteer networks. Her career is marked by a consistent focus on community engagement, operational efficiency, and sustainable program development. Passionate about leadership development, community resilience, and service-driven innovation, Valerie brings both strategic insight and heart to every role she undertakes.
