The CACN Advisory Committee supports the mission and vision of the Center for Applied Communications and Networks by providing expert advice, feedback, and recommendations on key initiatives and challenges; to generate and develop broad ideas for the improvement and ultimate development of the Center; and to advise the Center’s leadership on matters of importance to Center.

The CACN Advisory Committee plays a vital role in guiding the strategic direction and growth of the Texas A&M System Center for Applied Communications and Networks. Comprised of experienced professionals committed to the Center’s mission, the committee provides expert insight, fosters collaboration, and supports innovation in applied communications and networking. Part of our outreach at CACN includes serving on boards for leading institutions in our field, providing expertise and thought leadership.

National Spectrum Consortium Executive Leadership Committee

The NSC develops next-generation spectrum technologies for warfighters. Dr. Magnussen of CACN currently serves on the Executive Committee (ExCom).

International Wireless Communications Expo Advisory Board  

For over 45 years, the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) has been North America’s premier critical communications event, connecting professionals to evaluate, learn, and network. Dr. Magnussen serves on the Advisory Board.
